Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is one of the eight government-funded public universities in Hong Kong (HK) and comprises eight Faculties/Schools.

The School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) at HKBU was the first in Hong Kong to offer undergraduate education in Chinese medicine and pharmacy in Chinese medicine in 1999, funded by the Hong Kong University Grants Committee (UGC).
